Everybody all bent out of shape about it ever consider that the hood latch could be broken and that strap is attached to the bottom in a place that won't damage it? The other option would be to strap over the top and potentially damage the paint.

If you look under the car there isn't one like it on the other side. As mentioned above he has straps over the front tires and through the rear wheels.

 

He was referring to the price estimate of 150K...

 

Didn't say it was okay but people were making out its a $150k car.

 

Better question would be why is someone shipping a Viper on that thing?
Cheapest option probably, you get what you pay for.

It could be wrecked as well, hard to tell from one side. With all 4 wheels secured I tend to agree that there is a very good reason for that strap placement.
