Not sure how the receiver hasn’t ripped out of the floor pan rails, since these don’t have a frame. Scary.

CAXPT, cke and Kyle G. Thank this.

    Sturdy unibody construction.
    It’s a lost art!
I’m surprised that the rear axle hasn’t ripped out. ZJ Grand Cherokees were durable but those Dana or Chrysler 8.25 corporate axles even had limits!

    Yay! Someone who actually knows.

Granite guys are sketchy AF, especially in Florida. They’ll use whatever LOOKS like securement. It doesn’t actually have to BE a securement.

The offroad guys have no problem ripping the suspension points out of them. I’d think this would be way harder on it. Give ‘er hell! Haha.

Kyle G., CAXPT, cke and 1 other person Thank this.

Had this fella pass me this morning 95 NB in SC. Cat Genset under that green tarp out of — I’m assuming — the Lonestar storage facility in Savannah….

straps over the top. Surprised they allowed him to roll like that. Course he had a headache rack full of chains and binders.

Rugerfan, CAXPT, Gatordude and 7 others Thank this.

I was about to say where are the chains?
Usually engines like that are chained up front, back,up,down and sideways!!

FYI lonestar no longer has operations in Savannah. Where they were stuffing/ unstuffing cans got leveled and the new owners built a giant warehouse there.

Rugerfan, CAXPT, IH9300SBA and 3 others Thank this.

The office felt very…. Daseke-ish. But the warehouse certainly didn’t feel new.

How recently? The location off of crossgate is where I’m talking about. For a while we loaded return wing fixtures there. As of a few months ago it’s all gone, seen it with my own eyes.
