The big thing I noticed was the shortage of chains. There’s only one on the back.

Looking at the single tiedown pulling to one side, one would assume either they didn't load it centered and were afraid of a shift to the right, or it was loaded centered and slid over and that was to prevent any further sliding.

I don't most would tie it down the way it is, regardless. Looks like the right side tiedown at the tractor rear is almost vertical, and would provide almost no resistance to that rear tiedown trying to slide the tractor to the left. Hard to tell, but it looks like the left side tiedown at the tractor rear is also pulling left. One nice bump and stuff's moving around.

I would’ve went for 4 chains each on the tractor and trailer, but what do I know?

IMG_1953.jpeg Followed him from Carbondale to Glenwood Springs then…..right onto Interstate 70 EB. Good thing he has those 2x4 stakes holding it on the deck!

That must not be Illinois. He’d get a $2800 fine for a reducible load.

Hopefully he's stopping in the valley somewhere. Ain't no way that's surviving the two-track that passes for the right lane from Vail Pass east. Not that Glenwood Canyon is a lot better!
