Thank you, I had been reading that to apply to escorts, but I do think you interpretation is correct.

Me either, I throw flags on all extremities. I skip the banners just to save time, unless headed to LA. There annuals are definitely different then single trip permits.

I had to dig through my archives to find this pic, but heres an example of how I do the larger ones. I don’t think this one here is near as heavy as the ones mentioned above, but you get the idea. Note they are usually lag bolted to the pallets, hence the straps over the pallet in this one.

The smaller ones I just fork on from the side like anything else. I shove them over to one side so the heavy end sits over the center of the trailer.

That’s rich coming from the guy assuming he know what he’s talking about. That stands on the sidelines sniping at people doing the job he wants but hasn’t been able to land. And yes, you are wrong. Just to shut you up about it I attached a provision sheet from Tennessee. Because unlike someone who once did OS for a company many moons ago I am actively engaged in interstate commerce. More specifically oversize/overweight transportation. I will also attach a link.

Someone else already caught it for you, so I won't be redundant. :) I'll admit though, that Texas' documentation, is really lengthy and doesn't really drill down conveniently so you can find things fast. I suspect, that is because they are dealing with what they think are the most important points for really oversize/overweight loads, and making the information most important to those kinds of load front and center. I could also presume they think you already know what you have to do, and only mention it later on, just to see if you really read the permit/regulations. :)
