Not a securement issue. Drivers securement looked top notch. But seening a Pete and JB name on the door is the funny part. Seeing them, and certain LTL carries with Petes tells me how cheap of a pile of junk they must have become.

 

Can’t blame them for going after fleet sales, the more aerodynamic trucks they sell then the more hoods they can sell based on the GHG point system.

 

Profit margin is next to nothing on fleet sales. Only money to be made is on parts,service. But this is a changing world.

 

I’m not talking about profit, I’m talking about the GHG standards that go across an entire product line for the manufacturers.

 

That is a long way from a 9670. Maybe they figured out they could afford to pay more money for a truck that does not live in the shop like some other brands.

 

That and a lot carriers are still buying what they can get ahold of first since the WuFlu.
