F92EA88B-DA61-4F50-A0EE-7BC3607AA0F2.jpeg I didn’t get to see these on the truck, but they were delivered today to my parents house on a flatbed. That plastic wrap will definitely keep those bricks from flying through a window! On the backside of one pallet there was a brick hanging 3/4 of the way out on the bottom of the stack. It’s the one sitting on top now. Somehow it tore through the plastic barrier. Incredible, right?

They also happened to drop it all directly in front of the garage door while no one was home. Pretty remarkable stuff.

A little off center doesn’t really bother me, I try to get centered and usually can but I don’t fret over it, something like that will be the same width no matter what. I’m not sure where it is or the rules there but in Ohio we’re not required to have oversize load signs unless the permitted width is over 10’.

Florida is the same. Just flag the widest point one each side. In fact you can get a ticket for running banners of not required. There is a regular run i do from Tampa to the east coast that is 9 wide and 14 tall. The scale on 4 came out to come out and measured me before looking at my permit then asked why i have banners on. Need them for the height, not the width.

As far as where it is in the rules, it won't be in the green book cause those are state laws. Would have to go to the state dot rule book to find it.

Speaking of bricks held by a flimsy amount of shrink wrap. Pulled up behind this at a stop light today. Upon looking more I couldn't see any sign of banding (confirmed after I moved over a lane after crossing the intersection), and really there's not much there to keep that stuff planted in an "uh oh" moment.
