That tractor is missing the mirror on the same side that is over hanging the trailer!!!!... If it had been centered it might still be there???

Not my pictures, this is about mm114 on hwy 12 in Idaho. Happened a few days ago, a couple cranes have been hauled in and the road is closed tonight while they try and lift it out.

Sounds like a very expensive mistake.

Well it's still on the trailer and didn't roll over. Does that have steerable rear axels?

I don’t think so, to me it looks like the booster caught a big rock and that’s why it’s kicked way out to the side.

Also looks like a one lane construction zone for a repaving project.

Wonder if the state screwed up on the permits and sent the load somewhere it shouldn't have been? If so, kudos to the driver. Load looks both fairly easily recoverable AND undamaged.

No, it was only 5 miles from where it was going. They’re replacing a bridge at mm120. Normally they don’t permit stuff like that to run up there because of the corners. It’s an expensive mistake, but still a heck of a lot cheaper than if it had tipped over that’s for sure.

Oxbow, Highway Sailor and brsims Thank this.
