    He wot, mate?

    LOL.
This is some of that shift in expected general knowledge that we were talking about in another thread somewhere. I mean we had idiots 20 and 30 years ago, but to not grasp that going through at an angle was a problem?

I totally agree. This driver, if we should even be so inclined to call him that, should voluntarily give his CDL up to his state and go back to his old job if he even had one. He should be required to take the written and the skills test to get his Class C license back. I know my opinion may seem harsh but this driver's complete lack of general knowledge about the physical operation of a vehicle is appalling.

I look at situations like this and think to myself "what in your mind made that look like a good idea"? He said he didn't know that the concrete barrier was there.

I had dedicated freight hauling calcium carbide cans round trip years ago and occasionally a placard would blow off one of the cans so I would placard my trailer just in case. Most of the carbide cans now have a placard holder mounted to them so the placard is more secure. IMG_8012.png

Thanks I was fairly proud of it as a 23 year old owner op. 444 Cummins and 15 speed. It had full painted fenders when I bought it and was sharp. The original owner was a tanker owner op, but they were too close for my trailer.

At approximately 7:33am GWB TBAs responded to the Trans-Manhattan Expressway AKA “Under The Apartments” for cargo that had fallen off a trailer. Utilizing the 60 ton heavy wrecker GWB TBAs removed the item which weighed approximately 1 ton to a safe location. The object was moved and the roadway reopened to traffic in 27 minutes from the time we received notification. #GeorgeWashtingtonBridge #TunnelAndBridgeAgent #PANYNJ #TWULocal1400 @transportworker

    That’s pretty embarrassing.
