But spray on is not magnaflux, even if it’s magnaflux brand. And yes Regis is 39 bucks. But it’s for 7.5 ounces. How many will it take? I think it’s hardly feasible to use either of those processes on a trailer and I have never heard of it being done either. Not saying it hasn’t, just I have never heard of it.

I keep a spray bottle of soap water handy for cracked/worn out air line inspection. Soapy water will find any air leak real fast.

PoTAtoe, PoTOToe, the concept is the same and most people use brand names for similar processes since it's a familiar concept (finding cracks) especially since it was used by people that were working on equipment that wasn't aluminum...it's just a holdover reference...nothing to get excited about, but whatever floats your boat.

I mentioned visual inspection was the first thing, with the addition of being able to use these additional methods, when questionable areas were found, to verify.
Your Mileage May Vary, but my own experience dictates my point of view, not yours.

But it’s not a similar process. Magnafluxing uses magnets and iron shavings to find hair line fractures. They may accomplish the same results but the process is totally different. I just asked how you magnaflux an aluminum trailer. Instead of saying you can’t you went off on this other tangent.
