    It's not illegal to destroy your own equipment. Only becomes a problem when the trailer snaps in half.

    Shippers and brokers do not care. They want everything moved as cheap as they can.

    Some shippers do care. I had a customer go as far as contacting the manufacturer to verify a trailers rating before they would load. That was for a load worth many millions though. This was a customer who we have been working with for over 40 years that just happened to have a new supervisor that day who had no experience with that specific setup.

    What went wrong here? Lots of people in the comments are saying because he didn't use chains. I'm kind of thinking he was going way faster than 10 or 15 MPH through the roundabout like he's claiming. IDK...

    I’m thinking no chains, excessive speed, and he probably had dunnage made of white pine instead of oak.
