One of the few reasons I'd still like to be in the Army - I'd like to play with these. Those JLTVs are pretty slick looking, and it sounds like they hold up better than the up-armored HMMWVs.

They do look better and they always start right up!! I don’t haul many humvees on here but compared to these those humvees seem outdated. I wonder if they’re gonna even crank up a lot of times...

So did we! ###### things were iffy, and having to slave them off to get them running gets tiresome quick. I've always thought Oshkosh defense was a cut above AM General, and it looks like the bid process supports that. The JTLV is supposed to get something like 7500 median miles between operational failure, versus 500ish for the AM General offering.

    But...but...but...

...THAT would mean actual WORK. You know, throwing those HEAVY hooks, then walking around and having to use a WINCH BAR to actually tighten the straps. He might have actually broken a sweat and might have had to wipe some sweat off his brow.

Must be coming out of a Gerdau Steel plant. They load like that all the time. The crane operators have temper tantrams if you block it and make them put it tight to the blocks.
