Maybe if the state of Tennessee took every dollar from this man’s surely thousand dollar fine and put it towards the pay in the states permit department I wouldn’t have to wait 6 moons for a bloody 12’ wide 160k gross permit…. Sheeeeeeit.

 

I’ve done it a couple of times, but I really ain’t a fan of it. It’s hard on the outer rails especially if the operator is a bull in the china shop kind. Smaller machines I’m more ok with, but you get a 360 or 336 and larger that’s a lot of strain

 

It also gets a little ticklish with that wide of gauge getting it lined up. I have done it with our 320D once. Before I had a wetline to run the neck and the Honda crapped out. It was no big deal with that machine, but I don't care to do it again.

 

And this. This right here is why we have ELDs, insurance is through the roof, and still the fmcsa refuses to fund proper cdl training. "Oh just make it all electric so we can track them".
