I'd bet it's a company driver for a company that specs "real trucks for REAL drivers", but pays peanuts so they get a mix of idiots who don't know they're getting paid 10% less than a mega driver and idiots who know better but like the truck.

I’ve never even got a pole, but I can neither confirm nor deny having scraped a stop sign here and/or there. :biggrin_25520:

I will swing from the opposite lane and block traffic if I have to . Don't care if people honk or flip me off. I hate even scrubbing tires, even on a company ride..
that said i have rearranged some landscaping a time or 2 doing residential jobsites, took out a couple construction cones from landscapers and road crews that like to park right in the God #### corners for some reason. Most of the times they are not even working in that spot.

I have since come to expect if I am delivering to a place I have never been and it's a tight turn, there's a 80% chance there will some type of construction/utility/landscape truck parked right in the ##### way. Never fails

I remember one time I was going through a construction zone. On one side was a guard rail and in the middle of the road the crew placed those big fat orange cones so they were spaced a little over 9 feet from the guard rail. And there is a sharp turn in the road halfway through the zone. So I shimmy as best as I can looking in my mirrors constantly, and when I glanced into the passenger mirror the end of the trailer caught on a cone and sent it rolling towards the crew. All I could do was watch in the mirror as the crew scrambled to get out of the way. I was only doing 5 mph though.

That was definitely a amateur. I'm pretty sure he could've got a couple small cars on the back of he would've put them crossways and stacked them , possibly 3 .

Tandem trailer with duals is at least 25-30K rating and the truck is probably about 13-14k rating. That is very much into Class A CDL weights. The license is based on what it's registered/rated for not what it actually weighs. Not to mention the part where he's about 2ft over width at the top since the sides of the roof are hanging over the side of the crushed bus. The lack of securement and obviously over width with no flags is why they got him. If dude had made it legal width and thrown a few more chains over it they probably wouldn't have even looked at him.
