    There is a spreadsheet on permits4idaho.com that allows you to enter axle spacings and weights to help calculate what your gross can be.

    If everything was touching and he tarped it then it should ride. Hauling palletized salt we used to strap every other row, throw tarps, and hit the road.

    North Dakota requires Long Load signs on the back of doubles. That’s why Doug Andrus and those guys have those flip signs on the back of their grain trains.

    If you want to throw 13 or 14 straps on a load of shrink wrapped palletized salt that has to be tarped anyway then more power to you. I’d strap every other row. But the way I see people tarping these days they probably do require a strap or two on every pallet.

    I just looked, outer bridge for 129k with 8 axles would be 110'. I didn't bother doing the off-track calculator hahaha!
