North Dakota is weird, they only(last time I done one) required flags on the traffic side of the load(assume that means the left hand side) no lights were required. Overwidth and overweight only require flags....not signs. Minnesota....no oversize signs are required unless an escort is required, or over 12ft wide.

Wasn't a flip flopper, dam nice truck to, it was someone who knew better and didn't give a crap. I am assuming those are just under 12 wide they are concrete wall panels and that is the usual width for there over width

What are the regs for North Dakota and Minnesota? That would answer if they’re being lazy or not.

We used to haul 66ft beams out of Homedale ID down to Ogden UT. I’d make sure I was 9’10” off the back because 10’ and over in Utah you had to hang signs. And if it was a clear day and I knew I’d be parked before dark I wouldn’t waste my time hanging lights. I’d strap, flag the corners, and go.

Here's my own Haul of Shame picture. IMG_1324.jpeg IMG_1327.jpeg I did that by turning too tight with an RGN after moving the 5th wheel forward. Oops

    Regs in Minnesota last tim
Last time I hauled in MN over 120" placard and flags, regs in ND from what I can tell is placard (which there wasn't one on the truck) and flags over 144", he was about a 1/4 mile inside ND and I know which plant they are running out of in MN and they have a fairly long run through MN and most of them don't even have placards in MN

Will add on top of that it is all 2 lane they are running and if you run ND two lane you know the shoulders suck, there isn't one, it's soft as hell and will suck your ### in when you are loaded in a heartbeat, and they won't even put themselves on the white line, 13 to gwinner at least has a shoulder but 11 doesn't and I run into a lot of them on 11
