NopE.
No test.
There may be a PoP quiz though.
If so, it'll be open book.
So easy, even a caveman could pass it.

Oh!! No you didn't! Where's my jacket? Im outta here.......AfterShock Thanks this.
-
love em or hate em straight pipes still sound good
-
I love straight pipes. When I drive a truck that has them, I try to be extra considerate with the jakes, though.
-
Yeah, they do sound great. They sound awesome as a matter of fact but because of'em, that's why there's so many restrictions against them that screw it up for trucks that have Jakes that can barely be heard.
-
I was sleeping in a rest area one night, when a truck went by on the interstate and the driver applied his unmuffled jake break and woke up everybody. He did it for laughs, as there was no reason to apply them on that flat stretch. To any driver that has ever done this , i hope you get to sit at the shipper today for 8 hours.

I think there are so many restrictions against Jake Brakes because there are too many politicians with too much idle time on their hands to use thinkin' up too many unnecessary new laws to propose.
LostOne9 Thanks this. -
Nope its because of people like the guy below explained. They do things like that, or come jamming into a small town and let em scream. Then the city and country starts to outlaw them because the people are complaining.
-
You are 100% right..... I use to blame stupid laws, and restrictions on law makers, but when you think about it.....it really isnt the government that makes it hard on the workin man.....its people who would complain about a truck goin down the road that will be out of sight and sound within a few seconds. People wounder whats wrong with the world????? I wounder!!!! Just like the guy who posted about the truck going past the rest area and wakin EVERYBODY up..........SERIOUSLY????? Yea,...he drives a volvo... I use my jake...loaded, empty, on hills, flats, between shifts, pretty much every time my foot leaves the accelerater. The only time I dont use it would be in a TS or rest area, and would say to those who have such a prob. with it "You can pick up a binky at any wal-mart!!!
