Does Wal-Mart contact your present empolyer for background info before they call you in for an interview?
What type of trucks do they use Manuel, Automatics or both?

We don't have Manuel trucks but we do have 10 speed manuals and some automatic ones that are being tested.

Your interview will be over the phone, if they offer you a conditional job, you must then give them permission to contact your current and previous employers to corroborate what you said you were doing on the application.

both. but mostly 10 speeds. if you have a automatic restriction on your cdl. you are not able to work here, due to slip seating trucks

I've driven both the old and the new style of autos, I'm not a big fan. I'll take a stick every day of the week and 2 times on Tuesday.

I was told by my GTM that since they’re now leasing the trucks, it’s going to be all automatics. Has to do with resale value he said.

It depends on the state you live in. Some states have plans that other states do not. There are 3 main plans though. An HSA, and 2 different HRA plans. The low HSA plan is around $27/period and has a $2700 deductible. The high is $78.50/period, and has a $1750 deductible.
