The weirdest reason you've been woken up and your 10 interrupted?

Train and I was parked parallel to the tracks, so when I opened my curtains, all I saw was the headlight coming straight at me......I thought I was gonna die....lol

 

Nothing to weird ever woke me up. Had a John christner driver back into the top deck of a step deck I used to pull for Mike Lowrie at the loves in Tehachapi one time. Broke the rail in a small spot, gets out and looks, then drives off for another spot to act like it didn’t happen. Never seen a fatty waddle so fast. Had to confront him about it before he’d admit to it.

 

Those are times you don't mind someone waking me up. I had that happen last week. Thought the guy was gonna tell me to move but he said there was a no show and get in the dock Lol

I went 3/4's of my career until I discovered earplugs. I'd just nod off and some clown with straight pipes would wake me up, and couldn't fall back asleep. Then I discovered earplugs. Not only for home use in the middle of the day, they were perfect for a truck, almost too good. Sleep through alarms, smoke detectors, it can be a problem. Ear plugs, and for the record, if I ever have a choice what sense I should lose, without question, my hearing.

 

Van Horn, TX about 3 yrs ago I was woken up by a girl beating on my passenger window while hanging from my side mirror. I woke up scared out of my mind , first thought was someone is trying to get in and where is my knife . Opened curtains and this young girl was there , I thought it was a setup and there could possibly be more ppl waiting for me to open door . I yelled at her to gtfo my door , called PD and she ran ‍♀️ they chased and apprehended her .
I wait around to see if cop comes back and he does , he tells me she's 16 and she claims she knows me lol . Wtf now I'm getting grilled by PD and I let them know I'm here and not leaving take my info please . Crazy stuff , never stopped in Vanhorn again.

 

Oh, you almost got me to spit my coffee on my phone. So close. Hahaha

 

You ever pull in behind someone at a rest area, slump over the steering wheel, then wake up having a stroke slamming the brake pedal thinking you fell asleep at the wheel?

I was idling my truck in Phoenix, after idling a bit it does a short auto regen and ramps up rpm etc. Some fresh face trucker comes banging saying truck on fire lots of smoke, I told him its just doing a regen and some smoke will come out for a few minutes. The exhaust is a turndown so smoke comes from beneath rear cab. This same trucker parked next to me in back row away from everyone at empty truck stop too, go figure.
