And if you don't care about any of this then why are you still here? Hate to participate in the car crash but rubberneck anyway, right?

If you started that topic and it was of interest to me, I would read it with an open mind....I don't know you from Adam so there might be a valid reason why you misspelled simple words.
All I am saying is this...keep an open mind as to why someone struggles with spelling.....aiwiron, TRKRSHONEY, Hitman and 1 other person Thank this. -
I have a open mind yess sir I do's, ever since that lobotomy I have a big ol gap up thar.

Read your own words, and then read mine very carefully...
My son has trouble spelling the most common words. So does my husband, and so did my father in law. Every one of them is borderline dyslexic. But my father in law was a top notch mechanic, having racked up more awards than most will ever see. My husband is a driver who has won enough safety awards to make a retiring veteran driver proud, much less a gentleman who only has 10 years under his belt. And my son is a welder. A 17 year old welder who knows as much about metal and welding as men twice and three times his age.
ANYONE who would discount what they have to say, either verbally or in the written form, because of a few minor spelling errors, well, it makes them appear to be a fool. -
You predicting Guyslady?aiwiron, GuysLady and Mastertech Thank this.

Not at all, but was making fun of his arrogance. But darn the luck!TRKRSHONEY and GuysLady Thank this.

Seen this same thread many, many times. Same reminder about the rules, then different posters gather up to jump on the OP. Don't understand why the mods let posters make fun of the OP (maybe because they are in the "accepted club" on this forum?)? Shouldn't the calvary come running to remind posters that you should not make fun of someone just because they have an opinion about other posters? I did not see the OP name out a specific poster, just alluding to their observations in general terms.

MasterTech brings up a solid point. I know several people who may not be very well educated (I blame the school systems in their cases), but they are some of the wisest individuals it has ever been my pleasure to converse with on many different topics. One of my friends, a new owner/operator, has trouble reading and writing due to lack of proper education during his elementary school years (he ended up dropping out during high school), is one of the best drivers I've ever seen and is in the process of running a very successful business even in today's economy. And that's with the falling rates on flatbed freight around here.GuysLady and TRKRSHONEY Thank this.
