The worst receiver EVER

Because it is time you are not being paid for, time you can not recover.

 

You don't know the HOS obviously. Your 14 keeps counting unless you know how to split it well. Not only that, but there are other places to get to by certain times. They're called appointments.

 

Logging sleeper or off duty or on duty makes little difference when your fighting against the 14 hour clock.

If you start your day at 06:00am, you have to be parked safely somewhere by 08:00pm to begin another 10 hour break.

If after some driving, other stops, other delays, etc you arrive at your final stop at 05:00pm, and you've been in the dock for 2 hours, and it's now 07:00pm and they haven't even started unloading you, you have a problem developing. Especially if you're not allowed to park there and are far from other reasonable parking.

I disagree. While San Antonio can be pretty bad, Temple takes you in pretty much on time, unloads (dry van) in less than 2 hours and has a swell place to park when you get done. Kroger, on the other hand is pretty awful everywhere I've been.

 

Try almost any Wal-Mart DC. They've had me more than 14 hours on several different occasions. And rude is a compliment to them.

 

Safeway, Upper Marlboro, Md. Sysco, Orlando, Fl. Philips Lighting Mt. Top, Pa takes the cake tho, 10hrs to load a truck. Complete jerks & no bathrooms. I was very happy the day i got banned from there. There’s s Stop & Shop on the island that was pretty horible to. I was on a mission to get the ban there. The receiving Supervisor told me i was the worst driver ever to be on his dock, i smiled looked in his eyes and said “glad to see we’re on the same page, cuz you are the worst receiver i’ve ever had the displeasure of delivering to”. When he banned me i called my disp from the dock in front of him & told him hey, ya can’t send me to hell anymore. I just got banned from this Sh*thole. That got me escorted off the dock and to my truck. Lol. Was soooooooo worth it
