And they think getting banned is a punishment? ROFL Just like the shippers that are rude, arrogant, demanding, disorganized and close to--if not actually--a net LOSS for our company. They're always squalling about how they're gonna go to another carrier.

Please Do. I promise, we'll survive without you. Happily.

Saving on your 70 is the key to getting back home at the end of the week of you run hard enough to where you eat up your 70. Like my situation this week, I started my day on Monday morning, ran hard all week had 2 days where loading took 5 hours one day and 7 on the next, butt my delivery point was only 300 miles away. Bounce back to the original shipper, and go deliver at the same place. Had I not covered myself on my 70, I sure as hell wouldn't have made it from Lancaster ohio to Brighton Colorado in 2 days with 3 hours left on my 70 and 1/2 Mile from my receiver. Now I'll get unloaded in the morning asap, then truck my ### to the closest truck stop for a reset

You don’t know bad then. I have waited 11 hours in downtown jersey city to just get a dock, just because I’m a white country boy with a big mouth. I have since moved on to better things.

Also throw the ELD in sleeper and in a few more hours your 10 is up!

I asked something, to reply with "You're not a truck driver are you?" or something to that effect is not a "true" answer. Save your worthless 2¢ no one asked for it

My 14 ate my lunch today. I had 4 hours going to a shipper I'd gone to before and spent no more than 30 minutes there. It took them 3 hours and 30 min to get me to the dock and loaded. I had 30 min of drive time and I was an hour away from the nearest rest stop. You can do the math.

As it is I grabbed the last parking spot at the Pilot by swerving in straight like a maniac with 2 trucks hot on my DOT bumper.

Yep, another HOS violation because of a slow ### shipper.

The average moron reply to your dilemma is "You should've planned your day better" my reply is I did plan but the lazy buggers ignored me

You're the one who initially posted some utter nonsense about HOS which in turn put your gross lack of knowledge of HOS on full display for people who DO know what they are and how they work. It's an internet forum where hundreds of people read what others write and respond. If you don't want responses, I suggest you turn off your PC and grow some thicker skin.

I'm not gonna keep going back and forth with you. Apparently I'm the only who is not getting in their feelings over this. I asked a simple question, I never said I didn't want a response. I wanted a reasonable response, you don't have to explain your opinion to me or anyone. I had to go back and remove a lot of adjectives from this post to keep from upsetting any of the moderators. Peace
