And they think getting banned is a punishment? ROFL Just like the shippers that are rude, arrogant, demanding, disorganized and close to--if not actually--a net LOSS for our company. They're always squalling about how they're gonna go to another carrier.
Please Do. I promise, we'll survive without you. Happily.

Saving on your 70 is the key to getting back home at the end of the week of you run hard enough to where you eat up your 70. Like my situation this week, I started my day on Monday morning, ran hard all week had 2 days where loading took 5 hours one day and 7 on the next, butt my delivery point was only 300 miles away. Bounce back to the original shipper, and go deliver at the same place. Had I not covered myself on my 70, I sure as hell wouldn't have made it from Lancaster ohio to Brighton Colorado in 2 days with 3 hours left on my 70 and 1/2 Mile from my receiver. Now I'll get unloaded in the morning asap, then truck my ### to the closest truck stop for a reset

Also throw the ELD in sleeper and in a few more hours your 10 is up!

Yes indeed. I sure won't give you any advice from now on.
May you have an interesting life. -
My 14 ate my lunch today. I had 4 hours going to a shipper I'd gone to before and spent no more than 30 minutes there. It took them 3 hours and 30 min to get me to the dock and loaded. I had 30 min of drive time and I was an hour away from the nearest rest stop. You can do the math.
As it is I grabbed the last parking spot at the Pilot by swerving in straight like a maniac with 2 trucks hot on my DOT bumper.
Yep, another HOS violation because of a slow ### shipper.baha Thanks this. -
