Hhgregg in brandywine , md is slow as shhhhh . I only have five skids for them but it takes about two or three hours to get finished .

It took Teeter-Harris 7 hours to get 5 pallets off in Lumberton NC a couple of years ago... be happy if you get nailed for only 2 or 3 hours!

Home Depot has my vote!
They treat drivers who deliver to their facilities like crap!
I will not buy so much as a nail from them! -
They are awful. Waited 7.5 hours to get 500 pounds of freight unloaded - they then told me to get out of there (with no parking available within 100 miles). I stayed put and told them if they wanted me out they would have to tow me.
They didn't of course, and I have never darkened their door since. Never will. -
I guess the story I have is Owens Corning in Minneapolis. Normally, they're real good at getting you in and out. But they just had an ice storm followed by a snow storm. They loaded me outside and never bothered to clean anything off the shingles. Then they told me I had to tarp it before I could have the bills.
So I tarped it, right over the 3 inches of ice and 8 inches of snow. I took it just like that to a lumber yard in Cincinnati. At first, they were really ticked off. But I explained to them that I wanted them to know exactly what they were getting. They took pics and ended up thanking me. The manager even shook my hand. It turns out, their order specified the shingles never be stored outside. My company got their money, and I'll bet the lumber yard got a big discount.
Sometimes I just love being passive aggressive.
Then there was the time in Gary where they pulled this big coil of steel out from about a foot of mud, plopped it on my trailer and told me to tarp it (in the rain). The receiver was not really happy to see all that dried mud. Same explanation - same thanks by the time I was unloaded.
These shippers just have to know that some drivers 'aint gonna automatically cover for them. At least try to slick my palm for it, or something. -
Roger that on C&S.
Some of them are better than others.
If the load is single stacked (and a straight pull) I'll take it
off myself with an electric jack and stage it for check in.
My dispatcher would rather give me an extra $45 instead
of paying the lumper $100 or more for same.
Plus I get outta there a lot faster. -
Home depot is one of the worst....
