By far, one of the biggest jokes of a DC I have ever seen. Dropped trailers everywhere on both sides of the road, only one way in and out (only one truck can fit through, by the way), and, unless you're a drop/hook, be prepared to take about seven hours out of your day.

i would have to say usg in jacksonville,fl. me and another driver had to drop our trailers with drywall on them and their yarddog took them across the street where they sat for 7 hours without being touched while they loaded or unloaded other trailers that nobody was waiting on.the other driver and i were the only ones there in person waiting on our trailers.....they suck.

Ah, get over yourselves! The driver was trying to make a point and YES, he does have one. Of all places, Wal-Mart should be the least to charge drivers for unloading THEIR OWN PRODUCT. So, you can take your self-righteous attitudes and shove it up where the sun don't shine.

If you've never done a trade show, DON'T EVER TAKE ONE! There are movers like United Van Lines and North American Van Lines etc who get paid well enough to spend as much time as they do at trade shows.

Unfortunately, I've had the misfortune of learning this lesson the hard way! WILL NEVER DO IT AGAIN! :biggrin_2553: (promise)

Good story! I enjoyed reading it. I just wished I had your courage whenever someone decides they want to take advantage of me.

    Kudos to you!

Nope. You think they'd 1) pick a much better location; 2) have a scale you don't have to back into; and 3) hire warehouse workers that have more than seven brain cells, if they exist at all.

after going to Dow and was told they couldn't recv product I brought from Laredo, I was sent to Eagle Warehouse that is across street from Dow and owned by Jacobson Companies. This 400lb + shipping clerk that can only be this mad at the world because her thighs are chaffed from rubbing together, explained to me they would not be unloading me because I didn't have an appointment. 5hrs later after the broker jumped through hoops Jacobson Companies decided they would unload me and took the rest of the day to do it. This caused me to miss my reload which costed me an exhorbenent amount of money. Not really hard to figure out why our jobs are going to other parts of the world where people want to help get the job done.
