IP that Costco is good. There must have been a mix up with the shipper.

I've delivered there a number of times. The problem was a couple of pallets with mixed products. Those lazy, worthless, "not a lumpers" can't manage to sort a few boxes. What a bunch of losers!

Had another delivery to Bashas in Chandler, AZ yesterday, still just as bad as they were last year.

The Costco in Monroe Twp, NJ is getting bad. The refused 3 skids of our product on an outside carrier yesterday for "scuff marks on corners" and have also refused a skid from me once after THEY put a fork through it while unloading. They will rarely give us early appointments here even if we try to book 2-4 weeks out through their system.

we know it is not us or our product making COSTCO only take us late as we have 4 loads a week to another DC and we are always given an appointment time between 0530-0730 there. It is almost now to the point where it seems they are trying to force us to send our product on a swift truck (dedicated account at this DC) vs our own private fleet and rumor is if that happens we will drop them from places we supply to. Can't wait for the battle that will ensue when I tell them "we want our 3 skids you refused yesterday back" it is such a problem now we take anything they refuse back since it appears they are starting to refuse product just to get it for free. I half hope they say they won't return it so I can give them a bill for the product & the "extra top" and bill for the hours waiting. Needless to say the company (production & transport side both) are a little fed up with the B.S. now

COSTCO in Monrovia, MD they are great in and out/guards always happy and polite, etc

ANHEUSER BUSCH (Budweuser) in Columbus, OH...Been in to this shipper several times, always for a drop and hook. It shouldn't take more than an hour to do a drop n hook, but I probably average 2+ hrs. EVERYTIME I'm in this place. One time I was in there they told me my trailer needed swept out. I had just swept it out before I got there. The guard said, "there's DUST on the floor". I mean...come on now. The cans/bottles are sealed AIR TIGHT, then put in cardboard cases, then shrink wrapped...you tell me how "DUST" is going to get into those cans/bottles?
Anyhoo, I had to go to their sweep out location, resweep my trailer, then get back in line & wait to recheck in. Once at the front of the line, they accept my trailer, BUTTTTT, now I need a 'bobtail weight'!!! I go drop my m/t trailer and bobtail back into line to check in once again. Then I'm told, "Your load is not quite ready!!!"
45 minutes later, they call me and tell me the load is finally done. I hook up, pre-trip the trailer and go get in line to check out.....thinking FINALLY, on my way.
BUTTTTT, when I pull on the scales, I'm over gross...81,300 lbs. Now, I have to go back around, wait on a dock to have the load reworked. Another 45 min. to an hour wait. They finally get the load right, I pull around, scale out, sign for my bills and I'm on my way.......5 1/2 HOURS for a drop n hook.:biggrin_25510:

Noooo, not my first time to Bud. As I stated, been there many times...probably 40-50 times!!! But this is probably the longest 'drop n hook' that I have ever had.
Been to Budweiser/St.Louis many times also...never had a problem there....Budweiser/Columbus is just plain S-L-O-W!
