Albertson's is a union shop... don't know about the other one. Of COURSE they're slow!!!

 

But yet drivers "aka" puppets keeps going to these places and sit for free.

I don't sit for free. I get a fairly sizable detention pay after two hours of the appointment time..... so long as I arrive on-time.

 

yeah I don't get that either? I get paid after an hour of sitting.

 

One of the worst places I've been has to be National Container in Chicago, it's bad enough I have to go to that city, but to have sit in some yard for 4-8 hrs each time you go there?! Heaven forbid if you have a mixed load it takes even longer ,and if you happen to get there later in the day and you're near the end of the line you might have to come back the next day.

 

I am not sure as to where your comment derives from, but if it's through your own experience.... I must write that you're probably working for the wrong company!

Not me. I now get paid by the hour

 

Toys R US in Flanders NJ. Takes them 8-9.....hrs. to unload the trailer. I get $50 an hr.after 2 hrs of waiting and mi p-up is 24/7 operation.
