Do not come to trucking for the easy money as there is no such thing. Most drivers make $30-45K and that's after 2 years. Sr company drivers pull in $50-55K. The money is in specialized and O/Os that know what their doing. You come into trucking because it is something you WANT to do.

Just my opinion, but if you have the money and you have a plan, maybe now is the tine for you to buy a truck. I know from your other posts that you have been considering it, and you wouldn't have these types of problems. You'll have other types of problems, but you sound like lack of independence is your real problem right now.

    Just a thought.

So what triggered to you post this thread is someone turned you into safety? In this industry the trk drivers are always guilty no matter how minor how small how major it is,no such thing as innocent till proven guilty.Only time companies know drivers is when something bad happens.Sounds like you have above average on your job performance but your company don't see that..This industry is very broken,

Good luck Nash... any day trucking beats the holy crud out of life in cube hell behind a keyboard. They couldn't pay me enough to go back to that.

The first thing every driver should do is find a good sticky mud and place it over the "How am I driving" sticker. I personally like to call the number and tell them that they have a driver who is out in one of their trucks that has no idea "How he is driving", and needs me to call and tell him.

You will run across people every where who offer their opinions. I got fired by Design Transportation in Dallas because a costumer complained I took three pull ups to back into his dock. I do not think that people understand when they complain that we have wives and children to feed.

Man, you are patient... Someone doing 30 MPH in a 55MPH zone would take me all but 30 seconds to figure out Its time to pass them... I gotta go.... Time is money...
