Weird.
I do everything I can to keep away from the "chaff". You don't really know until you start talking to someone but I admit I am guilty of judging books by the cover. I love chatting it up with very experienced veteran drivers, but not the unprofessional ones who brag about getting away with stuff. Someone I don't know very well starts talking about their personal lives or weirdness, I usually find an excuse to go to the other side of the room.
There is a guy in my class who I do not think will get a job

This is why orientation is so fun! They really should make a reality show of it all!
I'll never forget one time while attending orientation there was a guy in class who actually wore a baseball hat with a pot leaf on it! Did he actually think this was going to help him during his interview? Needless to say his orientation was cut short! I'm sure he probably posted in the "Bad Company" section about how crappy the company was and how they treated him! Just a prime example of how much you should actually believe some of those posters who bad mouth companies.Meltom Thanks this. -

I remember one guy at Stevens Orientation who claimed to be a veteran driver with North American Van Lines. Kept calling the H.R. lady "babe" right after she gave the Sexual Harassment course. He thought I had made some comments about him and turned around, ready to start something. I told him it wasn't me, that I had no problem with him up until that point. They eventually sent him home after he failed his driving test miserably.

gotta love orientation, I just shoot everyone straight. I mean 100% straight, I probably shouldn't but I'm not going to lie to our new drivers. If I don't know something for a fact I wont say it, but what I know I don't sugar coat. Most guys appreciate it, I'm sure there are some that don't, you might as well know exactly what you'll be getting into.
otherhalftw and Hitman Thank this.
