There should be a law that states that no load board may accept posting of an available load without a rate listed.

I just wish the board owner would require the broker to post what the load is. Not a big deal to the door slammers but with a flat there is stuff I don't want to haul. Would cut down on the worthless calls.

Yeah it's a big deal with dry van too - knowing what the load is before calling. I'm not calling on bricks, lumber, or beer if I know that's what the freight is - total waste of time.

Are you hooked up with LS?......You can get loads emailed to you with rates....And often times....When you call the BOC....they offer you a higher rate than the email....

I agree ! and I would go one step further and say the broker should be required to declare what they are getting paid on the load as well !!

Don't you guys think there are way too many laws already? This world needs less regulation, not more.

It's okay to place more regulations on everybody else, ain't it? That does seem to be the American way.

No it is not OK. If you're using a load board, you are in business for yourself and you should not be asking the government to help you. Now go and grow a set and understand that dome day your time will be wasted and other days it won't. That's life. That's the free market, it's not perfect but it's better than any other system.
