my dream came true
got one used big time with intention to install it on my truck .
as usual previous owner stated that it was working but he has no use in his hopper bottom business...great guy ...I find most of the people west of the Midwest great and they seem more genuine that east coast or Chicagoland people ( no offense to anyone )
I was wondering what parts good to check and replace before putting it to service ( is it worth replacing parts before installing and driving with it testing what kind of issue it will throw at me ) ...heard all kind of stories. I am type of more preventative guy than repair , whole purpose to save money on diesel idling , as well as prolonging engine life ( ...I know I know and I idle at 1000rpm anything over 15min ) , ease of starting in winter.
