Folks, here is what you need to do. Set up a dart board with the names of companies that interest you. Get a nice mixture, OTR, LTL, dry van, flatbed, refrigerated. Throw in a couple of non truck related jobs, Wal-Mart greeter, Starbucks barista, Fuller Brush salesman. Blindfold yourself and just toss a dart. Research? That's for scientists and other egg head types. You gotta live life on the edge, take it as it comes. Trust me, you'll have better stories to tell your grandkids.

I'm still collecting eyevwitness accounts and anecdotes. I'm thinking a book first, then the movie

 

And now @Frank Speak has been missing in action for a while. Coincidence....... maybe, maybe not.

 

Can we expect this book/movie to be of the drama, action, thriller, suspense, horror, romance, mystery genre?

 

Probably a drama. I picture it somewhat along the lines of Forest Gump. Slow wited dweeb starts a truck leasing company. Remains obscure until the right marketing director comes along. With help from some big names in the industy starts looking like a super star, untill the economy leaves him beside the side of the road wondering, "what happened? "

Im thinking Ron Howard or Clint Eastwood directing.

 

Then the company might be great but their customers suck. You might end up playing musical sand plants all over west Texas as ProPetro's daily allotments run out.
