I'M currently out of training, taking an upgrade test for my new truck, and account.I'M about 60 questions in a 65 question test, and someone comes up to me,and says "your account you were assinged to is no longer hiring".This took me by suprise to say the least!I called my traing coordinator to find out what was going on.When i spoke to him,and asked what the problem was,he said he would call me back.I recieved a call back within 10 mins.He said it was out of his hands, and my account i was told i was going to was no longer hiring. So i asked what was i to do?He directed me to office lady in terminal.I asked office lady what account they had open for me.She told me they were only hiring over the road team drivers! This was a total shock to me,and i already knew what my answer was going to be,NO!!!!!What gets me the most is when a company acts like they are doing you a favor when they give you a deticated account. That was what i was originally going to be on,a deticated account.Home every weekend, work around your home at the end of the week, and park your truck. This was going to be a dream for a rookie, but dont believe them till you are 100% in truck, and on route!I'M a go getter, and i move on quick, but when you lie to me or lead me on your cut!!!!!THANKS USEXPRESS!!!!!DONT BELIEVE THEM WHEN YOU ARE A ROOKIE!!!!!!![]()
They lied to me,gotta move on!

i have heard that story too many times
it should be a criminal charge -
They do that too rookies all the time, they know you're limited in where you can work. Plus many rookies are so anxious to get behind the wheel that they fall for it. Also, they make more money with you running team freight, they don't have to pay you as much as an experienced driver.

Where did you do orentation?

If any rookies are reading this right now, please realize that you are not going to be the one exception to this rule. They do it to all rookies, you are no different just because your grandpa was a teamster in the 70's, or your brother in law has 10 years at the company.
Marky84 Thanks this.
