They obviously don’t value their life pulling this stunt.

I would expect this sort of behavior on Carnival but not Royal Caribbean.

They're teenagers. Of course they don't value their life. Most of us were the same but didn't get to go on big cruise ships.

I did go out on my Dad's 17' bass boat a few times. I'm not sure it was much safer with him chugging cheap beer while swinging lures and driving around stumps in a Mississippi swamp.

I was just on Carnival two weeks ago and they are not playing games anymore on that cruise line… There was more security present than I’ve seen before from my previous cruise… As a matter of fact, there was a guy that got thrown off the ship on my cruise and banned for his actions but yes I agree with what you’re saying for sure carnival has had that problem and lately it’s been Royal Caribbean having the issues…

Things like this make me understand fully why my grand parents and parents generation did not take their kids with them during “adult” time.

Flat Earth Trucker and mjd4277 Thank this.

When I think back to the crazy stunts, I pulled at that age, often wonder Why I’m still on this planet. I was an absolute daredevil between about the ages of 12 and 20. It’s just what you do if you have that in you at that age. You’re gonna take risks. Some make it through that window of time and live on to have a long, happy life and others don’t. Just the way it is. I was one of the lucky ones. Now im overly cautious because in my years of life, on this planet, I realize s*** does happen.

Things like this also make me glad that I didn’t have any children.
One of my in-laws and her family had to temporarily relocate to a rental home for the next 3-4 months while their house is being cleared of toxic dust and mold. My 16 year old nephew thought it was a good idea to play with a cigarette lighter flicking it on and off and then put it in the garage when he was done playing with it. Unbeknownst to him, where he put it a flash fire erupted and caused considerable damage! He used a fire extinguisher and called 911 and the fire department responded but still he had a lot of explaining to do,not just to his parents but also to the fire and police department(especially the fire marshal)!
