    I think the most important lesson I learned was there are good days and some days you just wish you had stayed in bed!

    I’ve come to the realization that;
    I’m a homeless person who has a truck driving problem.

    Thangs I'm learnin on the road

    I'm like an astronaut. I live in a tiny little space and pee in a bottle!

    It’s really not bad, not having an APU. My company doesn’t care about idling.
    I found a nice little 12v coffee maker at TA. Takes it 15 minutes to make 4 cups of coffee. But it works. It’s a Burton. Am happy with it.
    Have a little 12v cooler. It works, and it fits in tight places. Like behind the seat. Might find a better one?
    All in all. I’m really not out on any limb by not having an APU.
    This newer Freightliner is goofed up for idling. It will #### down because of needed regen while I’m sleeping. But won’t do a parked regen before it wants it. Doh!
    Also...That little Burton is tough. It fell off a shelf, about 5feet. Didn’t break the carafe or anything. Still works fine. I’d buy anything Burton from TA.

    If you buy one of those pilot/flyingj coffee mugs. Not only do you get discount coffee at pilotJ. Take it into TA and the coffee is free.

    Lets see, what one of my pet peves to tell you about? :)

    If you want to give someone in the next lane some room try not to drive over the fog line. Lots of little rocks over there just waiting to get flung onto someones windshield.

    trying to get a windshield replaced on the road can be a big waste of time.

    Lepton1 Thanks this.
