They are not allowed to go into your sleeper and look through bags or closets, and snoop around, unless you give them permission or they get a warrant... Many people think they can because their scared to say NO... Having a CDL doesn't mean you no longer have rights...

Someone should read the regs. They do not state that the bed must be made. They do state that you must have proper bedding. A Certified Inspector may go into the bunk area to inspect per DOT criteria, such as proper bedding and sleeper restraints. They may noy conduct a search, without proper authorization, but they can inspect.
Weight violations do not count, under CSA. There is no points schedule, in the CSA, for weight and length violations.
