I pulled a step a lot of miles with a 234 iin 9400 international for a lot of miles, I always wanted and really needed 20 or so more inches , but it did the job MOST of the time.

Pull all the warranty work history. Probably nothing wrong with it. Trucks get sold or re po’d for all sorts of reasons. Even with a few past bugs, no big deal. Bugs worked out hopefully, also engine already broke in means better fuel economy. Check if it needs an overhead after initial break in. Wether it was done, or not.

oh yeah, gotta love "honest salesman" stories. When they dont have a #### clue what the reason is. Like people offload there life story when getting rid of a truck to help the salesman out for future sale. They got it at auction. If it wasnt for guys that fell for bs salesman tactics, they would be out of a job

"Only driven on Sundays by a little old lady trucker hauling carrots from her farm to the county seat".....

But really, best of luck. I hope it's not a shop queen.

This. Even though I knew the original owner of my truck and knew the salesman at Peterbilt in Missoula I still ran by Peterbilt in Garden City and had the service manager bring up all the warranty claims before I committed to buying the truck.

    Rideandrepair and Wespipes Thank this.
