Thinking about buying a 2005 Volvo VNL with a cracked Block. How much to repair that and is it worth

That's the name I couldn't remember. I've thought of it myself but limited do commercial space for work as taking an engine out transmission out rebuilding replacing rewiring will take space and Time and most important money I'm sure I had the skill to do it as I understand how to read schematics and diagrams I used to work on cars for 10 years so I think I can do it but if it were that really

 

One driver posted he did just that and saved tons of money. He even used an older engine that was in excellent condition.

 

I had thought of a 12.7 or a n14 in a late model 670

 

It’ll cost you at least as much as an in-frame, plus the cost of buying a good used core for a block.

Unless the truck is free, you’re better off putting a good used engine in there or walking away.
