Found a terminal with Wi-Fi and I've pulled up the attachment even on my laptop, where the photo is not saved.... Not understanding why it won't show for you Mark.

For all those who have awaited with bated breath.... Ver 3450 is out now. This should resolve the issue with the Junction Views and split screen views.

I figured it out. Idk but the qcomm Cuz that came on before I unplugged it but I bought a fm transmitter for my sattilte radio Cuz the truck radio has no aux input and after some playing around I realized the fm transmitter was interfering with the rand mcnally gps signal making it go crazy or just not receive signal at all.

Then in 2006 I switched to using a GPS and havent looked back ever since, as it has made my life so much easier. Especially on those cold winter nights when it is snowing so hard you cant even see the road much less see the road signs.
Meanwhile, through the years the supporting technology has steadily improved making my life easier and easier as the years flew by. As a matter of fact, I havent had a motor carrier road atlas in my truck for over 5 years now.
What specifically have I been using? Streets & Trips together with the Truck Stops Plus template. However, they both have been discontinued. Too bad because they were both excellent tools so I will have to make the jump to one of those super expensive GPS units in the near future, but everything I read indicates that they also come along with a host of problems that I had never experienced with Streets & Trips. Thus, whatever I end up going with will be used as my secondary GPS, at least until the maps in Streets & Trips eventually cease to be useful.
The beauty of Streets & Trips is I can geocode the driver entranceway of all my shippers and receivers and then permanently save them. Thus, Streets & Trips gives me perfect turn by turn voice guided directions directly into my shippers and receivers, and when I have to eventually go back there again, its already geocoded in. I also have all my terminals and drop lots geocoded in as well.
Plus, Streets & Trips is super flexible as I can make it take or not take any route or road I want it to. In fact, I still plan to use it as my primary routing tool even though allegedly it isnt truck specific. In reality, if you know how to use it, it is actually much better at truck routing than any of the expensive GPS units.
Wish someone like Google would buy Streets & Trips from Microsoft. Anyway, trying to determine which GPS unit to buy, but I have to admit I dont like what Im reading.
Plus, those road atlases never told me how many miles I had to drive to my final or how many miles to my next stop. Not to mention that with Streets & Trips and the Truck Stops Plus template I can see all the truck stops, rest areas, parking areas, turnpike service plazas, weigh stations, Wal-Marts, etc., etc., etc. right on the map as I drive. Funny, for some reason my road atlases never could do that.
I can also check mileage from any point A to any point B in a matter of seconds. Never have to pull out a calculator and a magnifying glass to figure that out either. You ought to try it some time, its pretty cool. Do you also plan your trips with your road atlas under a coal-oil lantern or do you actually utilize your trucks batteries by turning on the lights? -
LOL. Actually Mark has been a big help.
