Snowwy - DO NOT get personal!!!!.... You had issues 4 years ago when the TND would not route you on an road you were not allowed on and you have held that grudge for 4 years.

Drivers why take the time to post a thread about an issue with the TND, yet I never see you asking for assistance on the support thread. Suddenly you flambase the TND for issues you have had for a month or two or a year, yet not once have you posted any type of assistance on the support thread.

IF you have an issue I am on the support thread for help or questions with your TND.

RM does take information on speeds or roads and submits them back to HERE. I have access to HERE. If you see a road not on the TND I can verify if HERE is showing the road. If they are then it will be in another map update. If not then they are made known and they have their own methods of gathering data that they need to show it in their maps.

The drivers biggest issue is that they complain, but instead of complaining, become part of the solution. It is not humanly possible to keep up with the daily changes to the road system in the US or Canada. It changes daily. But with 3 million drivers on the road and getting the information back the maps will be more current. It is you that will reap the end reward.

Almost daily I find restrictions or warnings that are still missing, but with research if find the posted signs and this information gets back to RM/HERE.

Again, if you have an issue with your TND their is a support thread and yes I do monitor it almost daily.

I had a 700 when it first came out and got a 720 when it came out...

i have never experienced any hardware problems nor lockups...

    they have always worked great....

no mapping software is perfect and i dont depend on it 100% for anything but it is a great tool...

i have had the garmin but i like the rm better...also had 3 cobras but they were jokes....

i recently updated my 720 and really like the changes.....

I agree. I dont use one because I have my atlas and customer phone numbers. I have one in my people net bu only use it to tell me milage. Dont pay attention to routing.

Update - TA in Ft Bridger, WY - TND shows it on a Dirt road, brown line. Since HERE and GoogleMaps only show the little nub off the ramp I have asked them to move the Lat/Long to the last paved area which should take care of the issue.

Eddie's Travel Center in Mascoutah, IL (i64 exit 23) is not in the system - verified - submitted to have it added

TA - Grand Island, NE, shows on a dirt road on the TND, shows paved in HERE, submitted change.

SAC truck stop missing - verified and submitted

    double yellow Thanks this.

Exactly. You use common sense. I have a friend who just got a summons for taking hazmat through Columbus, Ohio. Came down 23 and was on 270 and the GPS told him to get off at 315 to run to 71. Really??? No common sense.

I agree, most cities will have the HazMat around the city, never thru it. Hopefully they understand the HM signs from now on.
