    1. knowing that some medications arent allowed to be taken in conjunction with driving a truck i was wondering if anyone knew if allegra was one of those medicines? if it is what is an allergy medicine that is allowed to be used? wiether otc or not... im also on astmanex and albuterol for my astmah which i assume is an okay med bc it doesnt make u tired.

    2. also i was considering doing training/driving for a certain company and i want to know how hard is it for company's to actualy get you home on a 2-3 week bassis.. im not tryin to be home all the time i want to drive for one year and get my exp in and make some money (granted wont be a high cpm but being out more means more money...i know oyu have to work for your money..) and explore local stuff later, but i atleast want to be able to come home at some point in time and not feel like im gona be out for months on end? or is there rules as for how long they can make you stay out?..complete newbie here

thanks for any insight anyone can give me on this stuff.. thanks and i will probably be a frequent visitor here.

Only you know how Allegra effects you. I take certain medications
that may effect different people differently. If it does not make
you drowsy or effect your sleep I don't see a problem with it.
But ask your doctor when you get a DOT physical.

As for staying out a long time, it depends on the company.
Some companies have a reputation for making you lay over
in truck stops. You owe it to yourself to read up on the
    companies before you sign up.

thank you.. yeah allegra doesnt do anything to me in that regards. as for reading up on companies i have done that but it seems that there are all worst case scinarios from all companies.. the companies i am looking at seem to be okay in the sense of atleast getting me home 1-2 times a month which is all im looking for to get started...kinda can't wait to get started still be 2-3 weeks out if i decide to go with who im talking to at this point in time...

also if companies "route your last delivery near home" to get you home but you like NEVER see their trucks in your area should that be a concern? even though they consider this area their operating area...
