JML I use PDAnet. I have Verizon service and PDAnet was 30 bucks I think and I use my data off my Droid. I talked with Verizon and all is good for now, I try not to use to much time. Right now I also use the google maps as my GPS until I can afford a truckers GPS which will be soon.

OK thanks I will have to check that out. I got internet on my phone but would like to use the laptop to stay in touch with the family. Be safe out there.

PDAnet it great I did the 30 day free trial then purchased it, skype is a little choppy but great to have to talk to family and friends and actually see them live.

I was going to get a verizon card until someone mentioned PDAnet to me it is a 1 time 29.99 or 39.99 and uses you unlimited data plan so no 30 bucks a month for another device.

Definitely stay away from AT&T for data. Their coverage is very subpar compared to verizon and sprint.

    Poor decision.

I got rid of mine within a year. Never paid the early termination fee either. I was going to get rid of it within 6 months, but just never went into the local town when home to do it. Finally got mad enough and did it.

13 speeds can be a bit tricky to learn at first. After you go through your first four gears, you go into the high range and repeat the same shifting pattern. Except, in the high range the gears are split into a high/low. Takes a little practice, but after you see or do it for the first time, it becomes easy.

As for Internet, I use www.millenicom.com. They have a 5gb cap, 10gb cap and an unlimited mobile Internet. They use verizon for the 5 and 10 caps(atleast they used to) and sprint for unlimited. The best part is no contracts.
