I'm not saying all retirement plans, but it is common that you can't work fulltime and collect a pension. I am saying check the details of your plan.

And you need to take a road test in a bus, even if you already have your Class A.

And if it's not a Class A bus, you have a license restriction for "Passenger Class B only".

I have personal experience with this from New York State, and Ohio. I have heard but cannot confirm that a 60-foot articulated bus is considered a "Class A bus" in some jurisdictions.

Probably more than you wanted to know about the passenger endorsement. Sorry....

Most truckers do not make 80k per year as company drivers especially in the first few years.
I know 20 year drivers that dont make that. And yes you will be driving every possible hour in your 70 to make that if you are given the opportunity.
Are there a few jobs with amazing pay? Yes
Is that the average experience in this field ? No
It can be a good life if you are not trying to maintain a home in an expensive city. For certain personality types this job is the only option.
For most , its a grind.

Rochester, NY is Genessee Ale, by the Genessee Brewing Company. It takes it's name from the Genessee River, which runs through Rochester. I lived in the 'burbs of Ra-cha-cha in my preschool years, but I can remember the cases of "Genny" beer and Genny Cream Ale in Dad's downstairs fridge.

Just sayin'. But I understand the names and places all run together viewed through the mists of time passed...
