The first 50 hours the mentor runs line 4 as the student drives. After 50 hours it's team driving if the mentor is OK with it. This was told to us at the academy and at orientation.

Good luck! I currently run a team my brother and just about every month we go over the 11k. Which for us is a bummer since we do not plan on buying this truck at the end of the lease. So we lose any where from $400-2,000 a on a good month do to overages, which we won't get back.

Squeak.... yes he knows... we talk about you guys all the time, because mostly I lurk... I keep waiting for someone to read my profile and say something.... no one ever does... Well Steve did... and any one of you might be lucky to see me at Swift swapping cars or some such, can't miss my car. I have thought of opening the home but I never know if my place is better then said Quality Inn... I do have 2 kids 2 cats and 3 dogs... That said the West Valley is Hit and Miss depending on which side of I10 you are on. Yes my home is open email PM me... I'll even drop said beer off at the Quality Inn for you just tell me what kind, how much, and how cold. I even wonder if a student with their own car would prefer it to the accomadations Swift offers. Hmmm bonus checks... well we shall see what the universe gives us... I pray to the Goddess Asphaltia for all your safety... she's also great with parking spaces, and pretty good with loads if you want to give her a shout...

The Quality is nice due to the jacuzzi and pool, except in the summer, and the lounge, Happy Hour is great. Always fun to go in there and see if there is another new bartender. The Quality is on the South Side off Dysart. I have gotten used to that place. it has become like a second home to me when in PHX. Owners and mgmt know me and I know them, especially being a Elite member with all of my reward points that I have. As far as beer, COORS LITE, extra cold. HEHE

It would be great if all potential trainers had your attitude. I would guess that there would be less and less threads about bad trainers and all of that. The biggest thing that concerns me is actually going out with a trainer. If I can't learn from a trainer then what is the point. I don't want to be out with a trainer who's sole purpose is to make money instead of train and actually make me a better driver which is why the whole team driving thing I want NO part of.
blsqueak Thanks this. -
Describing what you see...
shifting and downshifting WITHOUT grinding!
Looking and SAYING that you are looking right left and at your gauges
the mile marker. animals, pedestrians
bridges the capacity if it is posted or 80 k if it is not
intersection traffic check b4 during and after while downshifting describing downshift
but NOT INTERRUPTING THE INSTRUCTOR
THE YELLING BEGINS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
its understandable,... I have 76 logged miles...I should know this by now...
whatever, I am still having fun and I caught a little streak of up and down shifting today that made total sense.... and my feet and arm and head were in synch and it was sweet... the instructor leaves much to be desired he just talks and yells and talks and yells....
"you are not doing this, you are not doing ___, you are not ___, you are not____"
No matter what someone is doing he is critical of not doing something else... then when you get serious and and try to do 1000 this at once and talk out of your nose... he gets mad because... get this... you are NOT HAVING FUN!!!!!!!!!!!

Well, tomorrow morning the head of the Mentors in Lewiston will be calling me. Many questions. Then will make a decision. If decide, will not start until after the holidays unless I can get a student right out of Cols just before Chirstmas. Then when I go home for the holidays then maybe he can also go home if he lives close by.
