Aren't Bedadril shots what all the Starbucks moms are using these days for toddler control?

To the OP - your situation popped into my head this afternoon. My daughter came on a 10 day cruise with me when she was two. To this day I remember the piles and piles of gear that was required - way more than any 2 adults combined, and that didn't include many toys. I was wondering where all that stuff would go in a truck? Let alone the tricycle and other outdoor play items. There is also the daily laundry that comes with a child that age.

Usually I'm one of the more positive posters on here but I don't see a way in which this will work. I doubt you would find a company that would allow that and even if you did the customers you would go to would have a problem with it. Besides it just flat out wouldn't work. I just drove from New Orleans to San Francisco, drove like crazy to get here on time. 12 hour days, every day. Nothing unique, it's my job and most drivers on here have done the same thing. But just imagine what that would have been like with a child, I shudder to think of it. Now, local could be an option, especially if you live around the oilfield. Local is really your only option but be advised, most local jobs pay less. Not all but most.

Forget that nonsense about having a degree, I have one as well. Find a job that they can't ship to China and one that can't be done by a robot and you will be okay. Ours can't be done by a robot yet.

Finally, this industry is harsh no two ways about it. Most don't make it. In fact the vast majority won't make it. Please keep that in mind.

Many women don't make it, and it's certainly not from lack of trying. Don't forget about that "good ol' boys" network out here and the fact that some of them wouldn't know how to respect a woman even if the instructions hit them in the head. What a shame too.

$15 an hour? Where do I sign up?? Full time with possible OT, versus $12.50 part time (school bus driver)--hail, that's better than the $14 I was making after 6 years at (b)Lowe's!! :wtf:
