Thinking of Conway is it worth it?

Take the opportunity given. u get the time in then there will be no more closed doors as long as you got clean mvr.who's to say it might be great. Piece of advice bring your clippers caz they do hair and urine drug test. I was in orientation they butchered a guys head they took hair from his neck all the way to his ears and he was bald.

I am an I/C for Conway Truckload, and I'm not looking yet. "Every driver I talk to..." How many is that, exactly? Every driver I've talked to tells me they're laying low, working as usual, waiting for the dust to settle. Me too.

One thing does come to mind. If XPO sells the Truckload division, I won't be able to park at the Freight yard here in Albuquerque. Not a problem, right? Freightliner wants $150/month for parking, and they're the only act in town that I know of so far for truck parking. I live in Rio Rancho, a suburb, and there a covenant in place, no semi parking in city limits.

 

Best to you, Jay. I average around 3K/miles/month with Conway Truckload, paid deadhead miles, they even pay fuel surcharge on deadhead miles. I've been pleased with their attitude toward drivers and their consistent loads. Best!
