You didn’t say what part of Va if you’re with reason to Greensboro nc.They had a couple drivers that lived in Danville va.Glen Raven textile mill was hiring.Good pay and benefits with pension only 1 lay down then back home 2 trips a week home weekends plus 1 night mid week. They also ran to Larado every week.when I was there only O/Os did that because company drivers were only required 1 lay down b4 coming back home

Speak for yourself. I would NEVER drive OTR without a GPS or mobile phones. Obviously you don't just blindly follow your GPS (even if its a truckers GPS), but Google Maps Satellite View is an absolute life saver in scoping out the shippers and receivers before you get there. Not to mention the states 511 Apps, instant weather updates on Weather Channel apps, etc. etc.

Saying GPS ruined trucking is, with all due respect, just nonsense.

I was speaking more to the company ability to track you with gps, not so much you using google maps.

Though many of us did this job without gps with few to any problems. There are many super truckers who would be lost without it.

Does Leonard's Express have a yard in SoCal? It looks like they have an office in the Temecula area.
