I highly recommend getting your hazmat and renewing it every 4 years when your CDL is up for renewal. I went through three management changes in under a year at my old job, it was good to have all my options open (except passenger). Accidents, changes to accounts or the economy, it all happens fast.
Thinking of getting endorsements.

Isn't it 5 years?
And do all states stick to 5 years?
AZ used to be 25 years I think it was but don't know if that applied to cdl.
8 years just took effect in my state but again. Don't know if cdl gets it. -
Pretty sure hazmat if 4 years
My state hands out 8 year CDLs but not if you have hazmat , thats how they talked me into dropping mine . Kinda wish I had kept it but I have never once used it -
