My buddy worked for England for 7 months because of a contract and complained the whole way through. I felt bad , he was OTR and brought home 400 bucks a week. Save some cash, get a loan, pay for school yourself. Rhoel is better . Also England is teams for the first 6 months.

I'd go with England! Great company, pretty trucks and you get to become a business owner!

A Stillson wrench to the balls may be best if considering CR England.

You should seriously consider taking the advice of the guys that said to save up some cash and pay for your CDL school out of pocket. You live in the best place for cheap CDL training. $1,800 is not a lot of money and you won't be locked into a contract for a year or longer. Also, I know that Lake County College in Grayslake has a truck driver training program. Might want to look into that. Lastly if you insist on going through a company DO NOT go to CR England. Even Swift would be a much better option, in fact they have been spamming craigslist looking for new drivers.
