I just dont think driving is for me its the part of being away from my family that i dont like
thinking of quiting school

if your having doubts then evaluate your options. Truck driving requires alot of driving especially first starting out. I always tell people if you dont like driving then its is not an option for you. Sometimes there are places that are local that will higher fresh drivers for local jobs. they might not be high paying jobs. Getting a CDL is a big plus.

I'm sure around Columbus you can at least get a job as a yard jockey. Some of those pay $20+ per hour and require a class A CDL.

most companys require Driveing exp to run a yard dog....stupid yes, but they do it anyway

In my opinion you might as well finish school if you can and apply to every local job out there. If you don't get one no harm no foul as you would be in that same place that are going to be if you quit school. In other words you would have to find another job regardless.

If you are not positive then you should quit now before you waste any more of your time or the schools .
There is nothing wrong with changing your mind. Trucking is not for everyone ! -

jakebrake on here was makeing $90,000+ a year when he bid a Yard position last year....for conway frieght
Very few pay that much but they are out there. I know lays (chips) starts at $17somthing an hour in NC, and Kelloggs starts at $14.75hr
