That shippers choice lot is tiiiiny though. But it does have the benefit of being a fence away from the dmv test site. So you get to see people attempting the dmv test all day every day.
The day I was there for the dmv test I saw two accidents in the shippers choice training lot. Can't imagine that it was a thing either, with that little room to maneuver it's a wonder their training trucks have any fairings at all
Thinking of starting my trucking career at Swift (Richmond, VA)

I'm currently in my mentor stage now and I am happy here in Abilene. Very impressed. If you have any question feel free to mesg me! Goodluck!Chinatown Thanks this. -
I started at swift with the intentions of after a year exp otr id buy my own truck (what ever i could afford) and go to landstar.
At swift i did company..dedicated water in fl....mentored(on the job training)....even leased one of their trucks (with intentions of giving it back)....built up my money and in 14 months. I put 11k down on a truck and been aylt landstar ever since..
Trucking 2 n half years. Oh and my truck has 3 payments left.
Swift paid me .25 to start.. But i knew where i wanted to be and swift got me there.
You dont have to stay with swift for the 2 years... 75 a week is not much to pay them back(if you left) -
Ps...6months after making .25cpm. They moved the starting pay to .32cpm. Go figure
