Some of these officials are just plain stupid, greedy, ect. They look at us as cash cows or hate us, one or the other or both. Okay, if they don't like trucks, let em build a rail spur behind Walmart then... Better yet, let the merchants haul their stuff in their van or better yet in the trunk of their car. I wish I could stay out of California but my wife has family there so I guess I'll tread like I was on thin ice. Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year ya'll...

I'm actually still confused over the whereabouts of this area you guys had gotten tickets.

Exactly where is it that this had occurred? Anybody have pictures? If I knew the exact location, I'll look it up on Google Maps. Sometimes if the street view is clear enough, you can read a lot of the street signs.

I drive in SoCal a lot. But not really along the 118 much.

    Chinatown Thanks this.

This brings home the need for a dash camera. I'm getting myself one before I go back out.

is it a serious violation ?? because i ve got one about 2 months ago i paid 238 $ and this week i got involved in a rear end accident in a heavy traffic i got a ticket for ACDA violation ( Assured clear distance ahead ) .

im from kentucky should i get suspended with those tickets cuz the ky CDL manual says :

120 days – Three serious moving violations in three years.

 A serious violation is defined as speeding 15 M.P.H. or more, improper lane usage/changes, following
too closely, reckless driving, and any violation showing a wanton disregard for the safety of any
    person or property.
